Tomahawk Steaks with Tomato Chutney and Gravy

    Tomahawk steak, brought to room temperature
  • 1 tbsp
    Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup
    store-bought roasted tomato chutney
  • 1 pkt

How to Cook

Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cooking Time: 50 minutes
  1. Preheat oven to 190°C/170°C fan forced. Grease and line a baking dish large enough to fit the tomahawk steak in.

  2. Season Tomahawk liberally with salt and pepper. Heat a lightly oiled barbecue or griddle pan to medium-high heat; grill 3-4 minutes each side or until lightly browned, then transfer to prepared tray. Bake 30-40 minutes or until cooked to your liking. Rest 10 minutes.

  3. Prepare MAGGI Roast Meat Gravy as per packet instructions; serve with steak and roasted tomato chutney

  4. Serve with a green salad, if desired
