Spicy Beef Sliders With Caramelised Onions

Ingredients

  • 20g
    butter
  • 1 (170g)
    red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp
    brown sugar
  • 2 tsp
    balsamic vinegar
  • 1/3 cup (100g)
    mayonnaise
  • 350g
    beef scotch fillet or rump steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 pkt
    MAGGI Stir-Fry Creations Korean Spicy Beef
  • 8
    small brioche buns
  • 1 cup (30g)
    mixed salad leaves
  • 1 (150g)
    tomato, thinly sliced

How to Cook

Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cooking Time: 12 minutes
  1. Melt butter in the pan add onion and cook over a medium heat for 5 minutes, or until soft and golden brown. Add sugar and balsamic,; stir until fragrant and sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and set aside.

  2. In a small bowl; combine mayonnaise and MAGGI Stir-Fry Creations Korean Spicy Beef Finishing Sauce. Set aside.In a medium bowl, combine beef and MAGGI Stir-Fry Creations Korean Spicy Beef Infusion paste, mix well. Heat frying pan or wok over high heat, add oil, cook beef for 5 minutes or until browned lightly and just cooked through.

  3. Spread bases of buns with half the mayonnaise mixture; arrange salad leaves over bun bases, top with top with tomato and caramelised onion, cooked beef and divide remaining mayonnaise amongst burgers, top with bun lid and serve.
