25 minutes is all it takes to serve up delicious Singapore Noodles for dinner tonight. MAGGI Marketplace Singapore Noodles Recipe Base is made with a delicious combination of ingredients inspired by the Hawker Street Food Stalls found throughout Singapore like coriander, red chilli and aromatic ginger, it’s perfectly balanced and great tasting everytime.
In a few easy steps, just add chicken, fresh veggies, noodles and fried shallots to make your favourite Noodle dishes at home. For a meat free alternative, get creative and swap the chicken for firm tofu.
150gdried vermicelli noodles
500glean chicken, thinly sliced
1 (150g)onion, sliced
1 (200g)red capsicum, thinly sliced
1 (120g)carrot, peeled, cut into matchsticks
1 ½ cups (120g)bean sprouts
2 tspfried shallots
- Note: If you are using shelf –fresh noodles you will need approximately 400g. Prepare noodles according to directions on packet; and use in step 3.
How to Make
Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 15 Minutes | Cooking time: 10 Minutes
Cook vermicelli noodles according to directions on packet, rinse well under cold water; drain, set aside.
On medium heat, add 1 tbsp of oil in a large frypan, cook chicken for 5 minutes or until browned and cooked through. Add onion, capsicum and carrot; cook for 2 minutes or until tender.
Add bean sprouts, vermicelli noodles and MAGGI Singapore Sauce. Cook for 5 minutes or until heated through. Top with fried shallots and serve.
