Slow Cooked Pulled Pork

Ingredients

  • 2 kg
    pork shoulder, boned
  • 2 tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 medium (150g)
    onion, sliced
  • 1 pkt
  • 1/2 cup (125mL)
    honey
  • 1/4 cup (60mL)
    water
  • 2 tsp
    tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup (125mL)
    salt reduced BBQ Sauce

How to Cook

Prep Time: 25 minutes | Cooking Time: 480 minutes
  1. Place pork and onion to the slow cooker. Combine all other ingredients and mix until smooth. Pour over pork in slow cooker.

  2. Cook, covered, on LOW for 8 hours or until pork is tender enough to be easily shredded with a fork. Shred pork, stir through BBQ sauce. Serve pulled pork with ready made coleslaw and warm buns if desired.
