Noodle Soup With Char Sui Pork

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan forced. Grease and line a baking tray with baking paper.

  2. In a small bowl coat pork in char siu. Heat a frying pan over medium high heat, using 1 tsp sesame oil brown pork on either side for 2 minutes; place on prepared tray and bake for 12 minutes or until cooked through. Reserve.

  3. In a medium saucepan heat remaining sesame oil, add shallots, ginger and garlic; cook for 2 minutes or until softened.

  4. Add 3 cups (750mL) water to the saucepan, bring to boil. Add extra char sui sauce, MAGGI Fish Sauce and MAGGI Fusian Noodles with flavour sachets, cook for 3 minutes or until noodles are tender.

  5. Slice reserved pork and add to soup with coriander. Serve immediately.
