Spicy Lamb in Turkish Bread

    lamb steaks, cut into strips
  • 1 tbsp
    ginger, grated
  • 1 clove
    garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 cup (70g)
    natural yoghurt
  • 1 tsp
  • 2 medium (400g)
    red capsicum, roasted and skinned
  • 1 medium (150g)
    tomato, chopped
  • 1/4 cup (10g)
    fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1
    lemon, juiced
  • 1 tbsp
  • 4 small
    Turkish loaves/pita breads
  • 1 cup (20g)
    baby salad leaves
  • 1/2 cup (140g)
    natural yoghurt, extra

How to Cook

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cooking Time: 5 minutes
  1. Place MAGGI Brown Onion Gravy in a bowl with lamb, ginger, garlic, yoghurt and cumin; mix well, cover and refrigerate while preparing other ingredients.

  2. To make salsa, finely chop capsicum; place in a bowl with tomato, coriander and lemon juice; combine well. Set aside.

  3. Heat a frying pan over a high heat. Add oil the stir fry lamb 4-5 minutes or cooked. Set aside.

  4. Cut the bread in half; divide salad leaves and lamb between bread; add a dollop of yoghurt and serve with the salsa.
