Lamb Navarin

Ingredients

  • 1kg
    boned lamb shoulder, trimmed and cubed
  • flour, for coating
  • 2 tbsp
    oil
  • 8 (640g) small
    onions, peeled
  • 8 (320g) small
    new potatoes
  • 1 clove
    garlic, crushed
  • 1 pkt
  • 3 cups (750mL)
    water
  • 2 tbsp
    French mustard
  • 1 tbsp
    tomato paste

How to Cook

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cooking Time: 55 minutes
  1. Coat lamb lightly with flour. Heat oil in a large frying pan over high heat; brown lamb. Add onions and potatoes, cook 2 minutes. Add garlic, cook 1 minute or until fragrant. .

  2. Add combined MAGGI Lamb Ragout Recipe Base, water, mustard and tomato paste. Bring to boil stirring, reduce heat, simmer covered 40 minutes, or until tender.

  3. Serve with steamed green vegetables.
