Just Add

  • 4 (750g)
    potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • ½ cup (125mL)
    reduced fat milk
  • 400g
    lean minced beef
  • 1x
    onion, chopped
  • 1x
    carrot, diced
  • 1x
    400g can chopped tomatoes
  • ½ cup (60g)
    peas
  • ½ cup (60g)
    grated tasty cheese
  • 1pkt
    MAGGI Mince Cottage Pie Recipe Base

How to Make

Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cooking time: 20 Minutes

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.

  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in pan, brown mince.

  3. Add combined tomatoes and MAGGI Recipe Base, bring to boil, stirring, add vegetables, simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.

  4. Potato Topping:

  5. Peel, boil and mash potatoes. Add milk to taste, for an extra creamy mash.

  6. Transfer meat filling to ovenproof dish and spread mash potato evenly over the top.

  7. Sprinkle with cheese, bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
