How to Make

Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cooking time: 35 Minutes

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in pan, brown lamb. Add carrot and potatoes, cook 2 minutes.

  2. Add tomatoes and combined ¾ cup (190mL) water and MAGGI Recipe Base, bring to boil, stirring.

  3. Cover and simmer 25 minutes or until lamb is tender, stir occasionally.

  4. Stir in peas, cook further 5 minutes.

Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cooking time: 80 Minutes

  1. Preheat oven to 200ºC/180°C.

  2. Place lamb, carrot and potatoes in ovenproof dish.

  3. Stir in tomatoes and combined ¼ cup (60mL) water and MAGGI Recipe Base, cover and cook 1¼ hours or until lamb is tender, stir twice during cooking.

  4. Stir in peas, cover and cook for a further 5 minutes.

Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cooking time: 640 Minutes

  1. Place lamb in slow cooker with carrot and potato. Pour over combined tomatoes and Recipe Base.

  2. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours. Stir through peas 10 minutes before serving.

  3. Cooking time and results may vary between slow cooker models. This recipe base performs well in slow cookers with a capacity under 5L. When using slow cookers with a 5L or larger capacity, please double the quantity of all ingredients (including recipe base) for best results.
