Just Add

  • 500g
    chicken thigh fillet, fat trimmed, cut into thirds
  • 1 large (200g)
    onion, sliced
  • 2 cups (140g)
    sliced mushrooms
  • 1 medium (120g)
    carrot, sliced
  • 2 tbsp
    tomato paste
  • 1 pkt
    MAGGI Chicken Chasseur Recipe Base

How to Make

Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cooking time: 35 Minutes

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in pan, brown chicken, add onion, mushrooms and carrot, cook 2 minutes.

  2. Add combined tomato paste, 1 cup (250mL) water, and MAGGI Recipe Base, bring to the boil whilst stirring.

  3. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked, stir occasionally.

Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cooking time: 90 Minutes

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan forced.

  2. Place chicken, onion mushrooms and carrot in ovenproof dish.

  3. Add tomato paste and combined 3/4 cup (190mL) water and MAGGI Recipe Base.

  4. Cover and cook 1 1/2 hours or until chicken is cooked, stir twice during cooking.

Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cooking time: 480 Minutes

  1. Place chicken, onion and mushrooms in slow cooker

  2. Stir in combined tomato paste 1/2 cup (125mL) water and Recipe Base

  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours.

  4. Cooking time and results may vary between slow cooker models. This recipe base performs well in slow cookers with a capacity under 5L. When using slow cookers with a 5L or larger capacity, please double the quantity of all ingredients (including recipe base) for best results.”
