Recipe Bases



Feature MAGGI Lasagne at your next Family dinner. MAGGI Recipe Bases make it easy to create healthy, balanced meals that taste great for you and your family. Just add – beef mince, onion, mushrooms, chopped tomatoes, lasagne sheets and grated cheese.

Just Add

  • 500g
    lean beef mince
  • 1x
    large onion (200g)
  • 1 cup (70g)
    sliced mushrooms
  • 2x
    400g cans chopped tomatos
  • 180g (approx 6)
    lasagne sheets
  • 1 pkt
    MAGGI Tasty Cheese Sauce
  • 1/2 cup (60g)
    grated cheese

How to Make

Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cooking time: 60 Minutes

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C/160° fan forced.

  2. Heat 2 tsp oil in pan, brown mince, add onion and mushrooms, cook 2 minutes.

  3. Add combined tomatoes and MAGGI Recipe Base, bring to boil, stirring.

  4. Simmer uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Place beef mixture on base of 22cm square ovenproof dish. Top with a layer of lasagne sheets (break to fit if necessary), repeat layering with remaining beef mixture and lasagne sheets, finishing with mince layer on top.

  6. Make MAGGI Tasty Cheese Sauce according to packet directions. Spread over lasagne. Sprinkle with cheese.

  7. Bake 40 minutes or until pasta is tender and topping is golden brown. Stand 5 minutes.
