Preparation

Simply Add:

  • 3 lamb shanks (900g), trimmed
  • 1 large carrot (200g), coarsely chopped
  • 2 medium potatoes (400g), peeled and coarsely chopped
  • 400g can crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp MAGGI Beef Stock Powder
  • 1 cup (120g) frozen peas

Get Cooking:

Slow Cooker

Preparation Time: 10 Minutes | Cooking Time: 8 Hours

  1. Place carrots, potatoes and lamb shanks in the slow cooker.
  2. Pour combined tomatoes, ½ cup (125mL) water, MAGGI Recipe Base and beef stock powder over lamb shanks.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours, stir through peas 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

(Cooking time may vary between slow cooker models)

Oven

Preparation Time: 10 Minutes | Cooking Time: 3 Hours

  1. Preheat oven to 160ºC.
  2. Place lamb, carrot, potato and peas in a large ovenproof dish.
  3. Stir in combined ¾ cup (190mL) water, beef stock powder, MAGGI Recipe Base and crushed tomatoes. Cover with lid or foil.
  4. Bake for 3 hours or until lamb is tender, stirring twice during cooking. Enjoy!

No need to add extra salt.
