Simply add chicken, onion, tomato paste, mushrooms, carrot and rice to create your delicious dish.

SIMPLY ADD

  • 500g Chicken Thigh Fillets, Fat Trimmed, Cut Into Thirds
  • 1 large Onion(200g) , Sliced
  • 1 punnet white button mushrooms (200g), whole
  • 1 large Carrot(200g), Sliced
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 2 cups cooked rice (380g)

GET COOKING:

Slow Cooker | PREP: 10 mins | COOK: 8 hours

  1. Place onion, mushrooms, carrots and chicken in the slow cooker.
  2. Pour combined tomato paste, 1/2 cup (125mL) water and MAGGI Recipe Base over chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours, serve with cooked rice. Enjoy! (Cooking time may vary between slow cooker models)

Oven | PREP: 10 mins | COOK: 1½ hours

  1. Preheat oven to 180ºC.
  2. Place chicken, onion, mushrooms and carrot in a large ovenproof dish.
  3. Stir in combined tomato paste, ¾ cup (190mL) water and MAGGI Recipe Base, cover with lid or foil.
  4. Bake for 1½ hours or until chicken is cooked, stirring twice during cooking. Serve with cooked rice. Enjoy!
