MAGGI FUSIAN Soupy Noodles Vietnamese Beef & Lemongrass Flavour are perfect for those who want to take their tasebuds on an Asian adventure! These Asian style noodles are full of authentic Vietnamese flavours including spices like clove, cinnamon and lemongrass. Tailor the flavour to your preference by either spicing it up with some freshly chopped chilli or keeping it fresh with bean sprouts & freshly picked mint.

To boost the goodness in your bowl, simply add lean protein such as cooked chicken, beef or prawns, and plenty of fresh vegetables to your noodles. Adapt the portion to suit the needs of your family.

Flavour sachet: salt, flavours, sugar, mineral salt (potassium chloride), onion (5.5%), vegetable fat [antioxidant (320)],
Spices [cinnamon (1.5%), chilli (0.7%), white pepper (0.7%), clove (0.2%)], potato starch, yeast extract, lemongrass (1.2%), burnt

Preparation

Microwave

  1. Break noodle cake into quarters. Cook in 1 1/2 cups (375mL) of boiling water for 3 minutes on HIGH (850W).

CAUTION: Take care when removing as bowl and contents will be very hot.

Stove Top

  1. Break noodle cake into quarters. Cook in 1 ½ cups (375mL) of boiling water on stove top for 3 minutes.
  2. MIX included sachet with bowl of noodles according to taste and give it a good stir.
  3. EAT and enjoy!

 

Bun Bo Hue
Serves: 4 | Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 10 minutes

  • 2 tsp canola oil
  • 500g blade steak, trimmed and sliced into strips
  • 2 spring onion, white and greens separated, sliced finely
  • 2 pkts MAGGI FUSIAN Soupy Noodles Vietnamese Beef & Lemongrass Flavour
    2½ tsp MAGGI Fish Sauce
  • 2 cups (160g) red cabbage, sliced finely
  • 1¼ cup (100g) bean sprouts
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  1. Add oil to a large pot on high heat and fry sliced blade steak for 5 minutes or until cooked through, then add the whites of the spring onions and cook for another minute
    while stirring. Add 750mL boiling water to the pot and bring to the boil.
  2. Set aside flavour sachets and add noodle cakes to the pot. Cook for 2 minutes, remove from heat and add contents of flavour sachets.
  3. Add fish sauce and serve into 4 separate bowls. Serve with red cabbage, bean sprouts, spring onion greens, and lime wedges.
