20 minutes is all it takes to serve up a delicious Pad Thai for dinner tonight. MAGGI Marketplace Pad Thai Recipe Base is made with a delicious combination of your favourite Thai ingredients like tangy tamarind, zesty lime and fish sauce, it’s perfectly balanced and great tasting everytime.
In a few easy steps, just add chicken, fresh veggies, eggs, noodles and crushed peanuts to make your favourite Noodle dishes at home. For a meat free alternative, get creative and swap the chicken for firm tofu.
150gDried flat rice noodles
2Eggs, lightly beaten
500glean chicken strips
1 (120g)Carrot, peeled, sliced into matchsticks
4 (100g)Spring Onions, coarsely chopped
1 cup (80g)Bean sprouts
1 tbspcrushed peanuts
Serve with fresh lime wedges
- Note: If you are using shelf –fresh noodles you will need approximately 400g. Prepare noodles according to directions on packet; and use in step 3.
How to Make
Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cooking time: 10 Minutes
Cook the rice noodles according to directions on packet, rinse well under cold water; drain, set aside
Heat frying pan or wok over high heat, add 2 tsp oil, pour in beaten eggs and cook until beginning to set, break up, remove from pan, set aside & keep warm.
Using the same frying pan, add 2 tsp oil over high heat, cook chicken for 5 mins or until browned and cooked through. Add carrots, spring onions, noodles & MAGGI Pad Thai Recipe Base; cook for 5 mins or until heated through.
Stir through bean sprouts and cooked egg; top with crushed peanuts.
