25 minutes is all it takes to serve up delicious Cantonese Chow Mein Noodles for dinner tonight. MAGGI Marketplace Cantonese Chow Mein Recipe Base is made with a delicious combination of your favourite Asian ingredients like aromatic ginger, ground pepper and sweet golden syrup, it’s perfectly balanced and great tasting everytime.
In a few easy steps, just add chicken, fresh veggies, noodles and fried shallots to make your favourite Noodle dishes at home. For a meat free alternative, get creative and swap the chicken for firm tofu.
150gdried egg noodles
500glean chicken, thinly sliced
1 (150g)onion, thinly sliced
1 (120g)carrot, peeled, cut into matchsticks
1 (120g)zucchini, sliced
2 cups (180g)snow peas, sliced
2 tspfried shallots
- Note: If you are using shelf –fresh noodles you will need approximately 400g. Prepare noodles according to directions on packet; and use in step 3.
How to Make
Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 15 Minutes | Cooking time: 10 Minutes
Cook egg noodles according to directions on packet, rinse well under cold water; drain, set aside.
Heat frying pan or wok over high heat, add 1 tbsp oil, cook chicken for 5 minutes or until browned and cooked through. Add onion and carrot; cook for 2 minutes or until tender.
Add zucchini and snow peas, cook for 2 minutes. Add egg noodles and MAGGI Cantonese Chow Mein Recipe Base. Cook for 5 minutes or until heated through. Top with fried shallots.
