Sun shines on Kids Cooking at Coonamble
The MAGGI Team are strong believers that cooking great tasting healthy food shouldn’t be hard, and in fact given the opportunity kids can show us that they know a thing or two about how to cook a healthy meal.
That’s why the MAGGI Team left a rainy Sydney for the sunshine of country NSW, to run the first ever MAGGI Pop-Up Kitchen!
To say we were not disappointed would be a massive understatement. The first cook up started with year 7 & 8 students who prepared a tandoori burger and a speedy chicken curry, which were both cooked up in no time at all and tasted so great that every scrap was taken home to share with lucky family members.
And then, just when we thought it couldn’t get get any better the year 9 & 10 students cooked the same meals with even more enthusiasm and added flair, this only seemed to prove that with basic cooking skills and fresh ingredients every mealtime can be delicious and nutritious.
Tomorrow is all about Greek Koftas and Chicken Stir Fry, can’t wait to see how that goes!
