Ingredients

1kg boned lamb shoulder , trimmed and cubed

flour , for coating

2 tbsp oil

8 (640g) small onions , peeled

8 (320g) small new potatoes

1 clove garlic , crushed

1 pkt MAGGI Cook in the Pot Lamb Ragout Recipe Base

3 cups (750mL) water

2 tbsp French mustard

1 tbsp tomato paste

How to make

  • Prep Time: 15 minutes
  • Cooking Time: 40 minutes

1. Coat lamb lightly with flour. Heat oil in a large frying pan over high heat; brown lamb. Add onions and potatoes, cook 2 minutes. Add garlic, cook 1 minute or until fragrant. .

2. Add combined MAGGI Lamb Ragout Recipe Base, water, mustard and tomato paste. Bring to boil stirring, reduce heat, and simmer covered 30 minutes.

3. Serve with steamed green vegetables.
