Garlic and Parsley Chicken Rice

A delicious chicken rice dish, and infuses all the great garlic and parsley flavour into your chicken and rice.  Perfect for a cold winter's night, or a great dish to share over lunch.

Simply add...

  • 1 onion, chopped finely
  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced thinly
  • 1 cup uncooked long grain rice
  • 2⅔ cup (670mL) water
  • ⅓ cup light cream
  • 1 cup frozen peas

One Pan Garlic & Parsley Chicken Rice

How to make

  • Prep Time:10 minutes
  • Cooking Time:40 minutes
  • Serves:4

Spray large deep frying pan with oil, heat, add onion, cook 4 minutes, stirring.

Add chicken, cook 2 minutes or until browned.

Add MAGGI One Pan Recipe Base, 2 cups (670mL) water and uncooked rice, mix well (The water will be absorbed by the rice and will be infused with flavour).

Bring to the boil, simmer covered 30-35 minutes or until rice is tender, stir occasionally.

Add cream and peas, stir to combine; cook 3 minutes and serve.
