Beef Stroganoff

Now you can make this family favourite all from one pan, with either dry or fresh pasta. Ready in just 35 minutes, the mustard, garlic and paprika simmer down, infusing the pasta with that delicious stroganoff flavour.

For fresh pasta

  • 500g rump steak, sliced
  • 1½ cups sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cups (500mL) water
  • 375g uncooked fresh pasta (egg fettuccine)
  • 2 tbsp light sour cream

 

For dry pasta

  • 500g rump steak, sliced
  • 1½ cups sliced mushrooms
  • 3½ cups (875mL) water
  • 250g uncooked dry pasta (e.g. fettuccine) snapped in half
  • 2 tbsp light sour cream

How to make

  • Prep Time:15 minutes
  • Cooking Time:20 minutes
  • Serves:4

Spray large deep frying pan with oil, heat, add steak, cook 3 minutes, stirring.

Add onion cook 2 minutes.

Add mushrooms, cook 2 minutes.

Add 2 cups (500mL) water, MAGGI One Pan Recipe Base and uncooked fresh pasta, mix well.  (The water will be absorbed by the pasta and will be infused with flavour).

Bring to boil, simmer 10-15 minutes or until pasta is tender, stir occasionally.

Stir through light sour cream and serve.
